TOTAL CONTROL RENEWED FOR SECOND SEASON WITH SUPPORT FROM CBR SCREEN FUND
Friday, 4 DecemberWith the support of Screen Canberra’s CBR Screen Fund, the award-winning TOTAL CONTROL, is back for a second series. The first season, also supported by the CBR Screen Fund saw political newcomer Alex Irving (Deborah Mailman) engineering a remarkable coup, unseating the Prime Minister and the woman who betrayed her, Rachel Anderson (Rachel Griffiths).
But now Alex faces the ultimate test in the democratic system: the nation is going to the polls and she will have to face the judgement of the people.
Minister for the Arts, Tara Cheyne said “It is only fitting for Canberra to be the home of political drama – both on and off the screen. We look forward to welcoming back the cast and crew of Total Control for the production of Season Two. The CBR Screen Fund supports productions such as this to grow the ACT’s screen industry, create jobs and showcase Canberra across the country”.
Total Control will film in the ACT and premiere on the ABC next year.
