A multifaceted one-day conference for everyone curious about expansive LGBTIQA+ screen storytelling.

Panels and masterclasses throughout the conference will cater to all creators in the industry. Leading directors, writers, producers and editors across scripted and unscripted content as well as game-makers will run masterclasses and moderated panels for the audience. Speakers will delve into topics such as the importance of meaningful collaboration, the pitfalls of stereotypes, the ethics of editing, how to handle queer intimacy, and opportunities online.

Tickets to this one-day conference include a courtyard party with drag performances and DJ’s.

+ SCREEN STORIES MENTORSHIP PROGRAM
Screen Canberra, the University of Technology Sydney, and the Australian Directors’ Guild with support from the ACT Government’s Office of LGBTIQA+ Affairs have announced +SCREEN STORIES MENTORING – a multifaceted program for LGBTIQA+ screen storytellers.
This bespoke program is a transformative initiative designed to build a dynamic, intergenerational, and interdisciplinary network of support and shared expertise within the LGBTIQA+ screen community.
